The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority has created a new online portal for businesses to apply for and renew their Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certifications.
New applicants and returning businesses seeking to renew their certifications will be able to use this electronic system. The system also sends automated renewal reminders 90 days before they are due.
MSCAA’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification program is organized by MSCAA’s business diversity development department, which endeavors to provide certification, education, training and outreach services to disadvantaged businesses.
“Our new online DBE certification process is part of MSCAA’s ongoing effort to increase opportunities for minority-owned, woman-owned and local small businesses,” says Scott Brockman, president and CEO of MSCAA.
