Mullaney Appointed President Of Duty Free Holdings

Travel retailer Duty Free Holdings LLC has appointed luxury fashion executive James Mullaney as its next president. Mullaney will lead Duty Free Holdings’ expansion efforts to launch new locations of the company’s Executive Retail shops and La Boutique stores worldwide. 

Mullaney joins Duty Free Holdings after a nearly three-decade career in the fashion industry, where he worked with designer brands such as L’Oreal USA and Liz Claiborne; design manufacturer L&M Direct; was the managing director of Bruno Magli; director of finance for Henri Bendel and served as the CEO of both designer brand Furla and accessories company Schifter + Partners. 

“James’ extensive experience in the luxury and international retail sectors, coupled with his proven leadership in driving business growth, makes him the ideal leader to take Duty Free Holdings into its next phase,” said Duty Free Holdings CEO Philippe Dray. “His vision and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand our presence, bring an elevated duty-free shopping experience to consumers, and solidify our position as the leader in the global duty-free market.”
