Mike Nakornkhet has been named chief financial officer and executive vice president for Denver International Airport. He is responsible for overseeing the financial and strategic management of airport’s capital program and operating budget, with annual revenues of more than $900 million.
Nakornkhet joined DEN as deputy CFO in March 2021 and has been serving as interim CFO since August 12. Prior to joining DEN, he was the acting managing director of finance at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), where he oversaw capital finance, budgeting and financial planning and analysis.
“Since arriving, Mike has quickly grasped the financial complexities of running the world’s third-busiest airport,” said DEN CEO Phillip Washington. “Mike is well qualified to continue to manage DEN’s planned $2.9 billion capital improvement program and support the implementation of Vision 100.”
