A store offering organic, recycled and sustainable clothing, footwear and accessories has opened at Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP).
Natural Element, which can be found in Terminal 1 between security checkpoints 3 and 4 in the airport mall, features items from Minnesota and around the world made by companies that are committed to sustainable design and charitable initiatives.
“Natural Element enhances the MSP shopping experience by giving travelers the opportunity to purchase fun, one-of-a-kind items while supporting businesses dedicated to charitable and Earth-friendly practices” says Jeff Hamiel, executive director of the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
Products include hand-crafted jewelry made with recycled metals, conflict-free gemstones and reclaimed glass, as well as handbags created from discarded leather goods and purses made from recycled water bottles. In addition, there is hand-made vegetable-based soap, organic children’s toys, and eco-friendly footwear, clothing and accessories.
The store is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
