Long Beach (LGB) has launched the LGB Airport App, which allows travelers to look up flight arrivals and departures, track specific flights; get information about parking and concessions and plan their visit to the area.
Travelers can use the app to check in to social media sites; it also links directly to the city’s Facebook page.
“Travelers can now book a flight or rent a car straight from the LGB Airport App,” says Mayor Bob Foster. “It also is a direct link to listings of special events, conferences, dining and entertainment options via the Long Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.”
The app features detailed maps with quick links to airline information; ground-transportation options; and terminal layout.
“Long Beach Airport is providing a service that helps passengers alleviate some of the discomfort of today’s travel,” says Airport Director Mario Rodriguez. “Providing a smart app for customers allows us one more outlet to be customer friendly because travelers now have flight, airport and city information at their fingertips.”
Detailed maps offer quick links to airline information; ground transportation options; and terminal layout. With this app, passengers will be allowed access to almost all of their Long Beach travel needs.
The LGB Airport App is available for free download on Google Play and iTunes.
