New Concessions Contract at ALB Takes Cash Cashless

The Albany County Airport Authority approved a concessions contract with Ready Credit Corporation at their meeting on Monday. The company, which is based out of Minnesota, will bring kiosks and their “ReadyCARD” to airport guests, allowing them to change their cash into a pre-loaded, insured credit card that can be used around the airport.

The ReadyCARD is issued and active immediately; for the five-dollar purchase fee, guests will be able to use the card anywhere in the world that Visa is accepted. Up to $1,000 can be loaded and funds on the card are protected from theft and loss.
