The new $316 million consolidated rental car center at San Diego International (SAN) is ready for operation.
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is hosting the grand opening of the facility on Jan. 20. Almost all of the rental car companies serving the airport will be housed in the CONRAC. The mix of 14 companies includes national brands as well as independent, local and small business companies.
“The new Rental Car Center is the latest example of our commitment to optimizing the passenger experience at San Diego International Airport,” says San Diego County Regional Airport Authority Board Chair Robert Gleason. “This facility also provides environmental benefits to the community while strengthening the airport’s role as an economic engine for the entire region.”
