New Director Of Development Lands At Vino Volo

Brian Holtman will join Vino Volo as director of development on March 1.

“We will be enhancing our development efforts in a big way with Brian joining Vino Volo,” says Marco Di Bernardo, vice president of development. “He is a strong addition to our already impressive management team. His 14-plus years experience within the airport industry will give us even greater focus and momentum as we continue to grow and explore new opportunities.”

In his new role, Holtman will focus on developing business prospects in new and existing airport locations in North America and finding new channels of business for the brand.

“We’re very excited to attract such great talent to Vino Volo as we continue to bring our national brand to travelers everywhere,” says Doug Tomlinson, CEO of Vino Volo.

Holtman started his career in the aviation industry when he joined the Allegheny County Airport Authority. From there, he went on to work at BAA USA, which is now Airmall USA. In his time with Airmall, he worked on the redevelopment of the concessions programs at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) and at Cleveland-Hopkins International (CLE). Most recently, Holtman oversaw all commercial activities at JetBlue’s Terminal 5 in John F. Kennedy International (JFK).

“I’m looking forward to partnering with airports and management teams to continue to bring the Vino Volo experience to more airports where I know it will be well received by travelers,” says Holtman. “The concept’s growth and vision has always impressed me, and the idea of joining the Vino Volo team was very exciting.”
