New F&B Locations Open At HOU

Five new food and beverage locations from concessionaires Areas HOU JV and LaTrelle’s Management – have opened at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport. The Spot, The Spot Bar, Velvet Taco, Fat Cat Creamery and Dunkin Donuts are open to the public, and the airport said more dining options will open this summer.

The new food and drink openings are part of Phase 2 of HOU’s four-phase food and beverage transition at Houston’s first commercial airport.

I am confident these new concessions will elevate the already incredible experience guests of Hobby Airport have come to expect from the first and only 5-Star airport in North America.”

Velvet Taco is known for its inventive and globally inspired taco creations, while Fat Cat Creamery, a local Houston favorite, provides artisanal ice cream made from scratch. The Spot is the airport location of the popular local burgers and casual dining experience. Dunkin’ Donuts will bring its signature coffee and donuts to the airport.

Phase 2 of the HOU concession overhaul will continue this summer with openings of The Rustic, Starbucks, Throughgood Coffee, Chick-fi-la and Pei Wei. Phase 3 of the project will take place this fall will the opening of Killen’s Barbeque, Common Bond Café, Yard House and SpindleTap Brewery.

HOU will finish the culinary upgrade in spring 2025 with the opening of Pink’s Pizza, Wendy’s/Jersey Mike’s, Dish Society, and Landry’s Seafood House.
