The new food hall at Orlando International (MCO), operated by Villa Restaurant Group, opened on Feb. 23.
Located in Airside 2 Terminal, the 11,100-plus-square-foot food hall includes six concepts – Villa Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, & Bananas, The Market by Villa, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Asian Chao Oriental Eatery and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
“We are excited to open our new food hall at Orlando International Airport,” says Adam Torine, executive vice president of development for Villa. “Our goal was to appeal to the needs of the Southwest passenger by creating a food hall that included an extensive lineup of great quick-service restaurant brands. We also wanted to add a lineup of powerhouse concepts like Jersey Mike’s, Chipotle and Winter Park-based Asian Chao in an effort to deliver recognizable brands with mass appeal, providing the best opportunity for high volumes and excellent speed of service. Our team did a great job of methodically planning every detail of this project – from its beautiful aesthetics to ensuring that the price point was appropriate for families, airport employees, flight crews, solo travelers and more.”
