Tampa International Airport (TPA) officially welcomed four new concessions offerings today, bringing a renovated on-site brewery and local burger brand to Airside C, as well as a massage spa and news convenience store to Airside F.
“We’re pleased to welcome the latest Burger 21, Stellar Bay News and Terminal Getaway Spa locations, as well a completely redeveloped Cigar City Brewing, which we know will remain popular with our guests for years to come,” says TPA Vice President of Concessions Laurie Noyes. “These brands and concepts truly reflect the spirit of Tampa Bay through flavors, brews, products and relaxation services that we hope will leave an impression on our visitors coming and going.”
Cigar City Brewing, a Tampa-based brand that has operated at Airside C for years, reopened with an expanded dining area and second bar, as well as an on-site brewing operation. Nearby at the same airside, Burger 21 opened as the second location at TPA. The concepts are operated by concessionaire HMSHost.
At Airside F, TPA’s international terminal, Stellar Partners opened Stellar Bay News + Market, a space offering travel accessories, souvenirs and other retail items. Terminal Getaway Spa now offers massage services in the same terminal.
“We are thrilled to be opening our fourth new Terminal Getaway Spa location on Airside F in Tampa as part of the airport’s nearly $1 billion facility expansion,” said Marko Iglendza, CEO and Founder of Terminal Getaway Spa. “We are excited to bring our concept to the international travelers of TPA.”
Tampa International Airport is now nearly finished with the concessions redevelopment and will have all 69 concepts open and fully operational this year. Participation in the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) also increased from 3 companies to 15, bringing more woman- and minority-owned business to TPA.
