The Kansas City, Mo., Aviation Department has revealed an updated website for Kansas City International (MCI). Under the same web address, flykci.com, the site has an improved navigation, layout and content management system.
The website also has new features that include interactive maps, a search function, a traveler services section and a responsive design that is compatible with electronic devices.
Other features of the new site include a parking-fee estimator, information about MCI Rewards Frequent Parker Program and sign-up forms for MCI Fly Buys airfare deals and contests.
MCI also revamped its free Wi-Fi service. Launched more than 10 years ago, the Wi-Fi performance at MCI has decreased with the increase passenger traffic. New Cisco access points in the airport now provide Wi-Fi at speeds of up to 5 Ghz and can serve up to 2,000 devices at once.
