Nine New Hudson Concepts To Open at OMA

Omaha Airport Authority has awarded Hudson a new contract to open nine dining and retail concepts at Omaha Eppley Airfield (OMA) beginning in 2027, which will expand the operator’s presence at the airport by 9,000 square feet. The new OMA Hudson properties will include a Starbucks Coffee location; three Hudson travel convenience stores, including two hybrid stores that will feature Omaha-based Scooter’s Coffee; an iPorte travel tech retail store; a locally focused Uniquely Omaha boutique featuring wares from Made in Omaha, the Local Makers Collective, and Four Sisters Boutique; the 50th Street Market, inspired by Omaha’s Dundee neighborhood and featuring local brands Smoking Gun Jerky and Lulubee Artisanal Chocolates; travel essential store Blackstone Supply; as well as airport outposts of Omaha favorites The Bookworm indie bookstore and Pitch Pizzeria. Hudson will include design elements inspired by local architecture as well as host “Meet the Maker” events showcasing local entrepreneurs. The concessionaire will operate the pre-security Hudson and Scooter’s Coffee location as a joint venture with local ACDBE partner Kracky McGee’s Snack Shack (dba of GPMM, Inc.) and its watches, jewelry and accessories sales category as a joint venture with ACDBE partner Rubio Enterprises, LLC.

“We are tremendously proud to join Omaha Airport Authority on its journey to make Eppley Airfield the best airport in the Midwest,” said Steve Johnson, president and CEO of North America for Avolta. “As part of Avolta, Hudson is uniquely positioned to help Eppley Airfield build a better airport experience by introducing exciting retail and food and beverage offerings that enhance the passenger experience. We look forward to this expanded partnership together to usher in the future of Eppley Airfield.”
