Tom Nolan has been named the president and CEO of Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), succeeding Diane Crews, who is retiring from the airport after 19 years.
“Tom comes from a similarly sized tourism-driven airport and brings significant depth and experience to help navigate our airport’s growth into the future,” said Tom Green, Sanford Airport Authority chairman, in announcing the appointment after a six-month search. “We look forward to him becoming a leader at both the airport and in our Central Florida community.”
Nolan brings decades of executive experience in the airport industry to his new role, including leading the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) in California for the past 13 years.
“I consider it an honor and pleasure to put my airport management experience to work for the Authority, staff team members and airport stakeholders navigating Orlando Sanford Airport into and through its next great chapter of success,” Nolan said in a release.
