Nuance-Watson has entered the Chinese market, establishing operations at Zhuhai Airport (ZUH). The company has opened a “multi-category” store called “The Plaza” and a convenience store called “Watsons Your Personal Store,” both of which have already built a reputation and recognition with Mainland Chinese customers, it says.
The Plaza offers lifestyle choices such as jewelry, fashion and luggage, food and beauty items, while the Watsons offers essentials and convenience items.
The company sees the joint venture between Nuance-Watson, Hong Kong International (HKG) and the Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government as a perfect fit almost exactly one year after HKG became involved in operating ZUH.
