Oakland International (OAK) is giving travelers a gift for the holidays: free parking for travelers who fly midweek from OAK to any destination between Thanksgiving Day and Dec. 22.
“Typically we see fewer passengers in the period immediately following Thanksgiving, and airlines often offer some great deals to stimulate travel,” says Deborah Ale Flint, director of aviation for the Port of Oakland, which owns and operates OAK. “We’re adding to this by offering free parking so customers can combine offers and take that extra trip, for business or pleasure – or even to top off their mileage for elite status in 2012 – between the two busy winter holiday travel periods.”
Travelers departing Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during the promotion will receive up to three days of free parking, valued at up to $66. They must register at oaklandairport.com and print the coupon, which can be used in OAK’s Daily Lot, across from the terminals
