OHM Concession Group has opened a fast-casual hot dog concept, called DC-3, at Washington Dulles International (IAD). The opening is in collaboration with matchboxfoodgroup.
DC-3 takes cues from the late 1940s and the advent of commercial flying on The Douglas Commercial, or DC-3, jets.
The 800-square-foot location will bring airport travelers, employees and visitors specialty hot dogs from across the country. Menu offerings include custom hot dogs such as the DC- hot half smoke made up of a Logan’s Sausage half smoke, sweet relish, yellow mustard, and raw onions; the classic Chicago 7 topped with yellow mustard, tomato, dill pickle, neon relish, raw onions and celery salt; and the Cincinnati Coney with shredded cheddar, onions and mustard. The location will also serve breakfast from 5am to 10am.
“We are very excited to bring DC-3 to Dulles International Airport,” said Milan Patel, president and CEO of OHM, “DC-3 offers fun, regional gourmet hot dogs and the matchboxfoodgroup team shares our values of great food, warm service, and a fun atmosphere.”
