OTG Brings New Restaurant Concepts to IAH

OTG is introducing two new dining concepts to Houston George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) Terminal C South: the Tex-Mex eatery El Premio and the Italian/pizza-themed Forno Magico.

Both new concepts were developed by OTG’s VP of culinary and James Beard Award-winning Chef Nate Appleman, and are part of the concessionaire’s work with United Airlines to improve the passenger experience in Terminal C.

El Premio’s menu includes Classic Queso with green chili and house-made chips and fresh chicken or skirt steak, Crispy Cauliflower made with mole poblano sauce, toasted almonds and cotija cheese and Jalapeño Cheese Curds, served with warm spicy tomato sauce. The restaurant also features a grab-and-go counter so travelers in a hurry can build their own Tex-Mex bowls.

Forno Magico offers a section of Neapolitan style pizzas, salads, and small plates that include Cauliflower Cacio e Pepe and Burrata & Roasted Peppers served with pizza bread.

Daroff Design provided the design for both concepts, including custom-designed murals, black-and-white tiles with oak accents and other touches to enhance the visual feel.

“At OTG, our passion has always been bringing a true sense of place to the airport terminal,” says OTG CEO Rick Blatstein. “We’re proud that these two new concepts give guests passing through a real sense of the feel and flavors Houston is known for.”
