OTG Concessions Management has opened five new concepts in LaGuardia Airport (LGA)’s Terminal C. The Delta terminal’s dining landscape now include Calista Taverna, a modern Mediterranean restaurant with an open kitchen serving Greek fare like Souvlaki, grape leaves and Baklava as well as local wines and signature cocktails; Prime, a classic American steakhouse offering Pat LaFrieda filet, NY strip, and ribeye cuts as well as 34 wines available by the glass; Soleil Brasserie, a casual French eatery offering steaks, salads and pastries as well as French-inspired cocktails; The Grille, a New York-themed restaurant inspired by the city’s green spaces offering burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and local beers; and a new food hall featuring a mix of national brands and airport outposts of local brands including Brooklyn’s King David Tacos, the West Village’s Taïm, Artichoke from the East Village, Auntie Anne’s, Magnolia Bakery, Jamba, EggSactly, Trinity Burgers, Brooklyn’s Best Bagels, Kombu and a CIBO Express Gourmet Market. OTG’s new dining options are reflective of LGA’s recent transformation, which has earned the once-poorly rated Queens facility the title of best airport in the country in this year’s Forbes Travel Guide.
“I bet no one would have imagined that LaGuardia Airport would become a hub of great food, creative cocktails, and top-flight restaurants, but that is today’s reality,” said Jeff Yablun, CEO of OTG Management. “When you walk through this beautiful airport, the smells coming from the restaurants will stun you, and, literally, make you want to come to the airport early to grab a bite to eat. I want to thank our wonderful crew members who work day and night to make this experience so special for travelers.”
