OTG Management said all 86 of its locations at John Kennedy International (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark Liberty International (EWR) airports have earned the prestigious Certified Green Restaurant sustainability certification by the Green Restaurant Association.
All the locations earned the award by implementing numerous environmental steps including energy, water, waste, reusables and disposables, chemicals and pollution, food, and building and furnishing. By initiating daily waste reduction practices, decreasing water usage, and conserving energy, OTG will minimize its environmental footprint and achieve significant cost savings.
“At OTG, we believe that every effort (big or small) to be more environmentally conscious in our business builds a better future,” said Rick Blatstein, CEO at OTG. “Between working with the Green Restaurant Association, partnering with environmentally friendly vendors, and reducing our carbon footprint, we’re able to take the lead in sustainability and continue our commitment to be a part of the solution.”
