OTG’s Volante Opens In MSP

OTG Management continues the roll out of its OTG Experience with the opening of Italian eatery Volante in Minneapolis-St. Paul International’s (MSP) Concourse G.

The restaurant offers diners a menu of pastas made fresh on site, New York Strip with asparagus and truffled parmesan fries, Farro soup with spinach, pine nuts and lemon and olive oil and much more.

“With a menu inspired by local chef Doug Flicker, the vibe at this Italian eatery will be known for the energy of its design and the elegant simplicity of its dishes,” says OTG founder and CEO Rick Blatstein.

As with many of OTG’s airport restaurants, Volante will provide each diner an iPad from which they will be able to order their meal, check email, surf the internet, check flight statuses and more through a browser built specifically for OTG.  The company has already deployed 358 iPads at its MSP restaurants, with the ultimate goal of deploying a total of 2500 at the airport by the end of 2013.

Volante joins Mimosa, MinniBar and Shoyu as other OTG restaurants that have opened in Concourse G.
