Fraport USA has opened Paint Monkey, a do-it-yourself paint studio kiosk, in Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) Concourse B. The Paint Monkey kiosk is the latest in a series of pop-ups opened through Airmall Pittsburgh’s POP-OPPs program.
At Paint Monkey, travelers can choose from a range of pre-sketched canvases and use their extra time at the airport to paint a picture to take home. All canvases are sized to fit into carry-on luggage, but travelers can also choose to have their creations shipped home.
In addition to these canvases, Paint Monkey offers spin art and pre-painted merchandise that features recognizable Pittsburgh images.
Outside the airport, Pittsburgh has four Paint Monkey studios.
“Pittsburgh loves Paint Monkey, and our studios are a big hit among families, couples and friends looking for a fun and creative activity,” says Joe Groom, owner of Paint Monkey. “Bringing Paint Monkey into the terminal is great for travelers of all ages seeking a unique way to make the most of their trip or something different to do at the airport.”
