The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has granted The Grove Inc. two food and beverage locations at Newark Liberty International’s (EWR) Terminal A.
The food court, near departure area A2, will have two new stores holding three new concepts: Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Manchu WOK. Construction will begin in the spring and the eateries are slated to open during the summer.
“We are excited to be able to grow our operations in Newark Liberty International Airport and continue our service to the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey,” says Michelle Dukler, president and CEO of TGI. “We are confident that these operations will considerably contribute to the airport’s revenue and highly appeal to the airport consumers.”
The port authority also announced that, with this award, it is exceeding its goal of 15% minority participation in the concessions program, as TGI is a 100% Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise company.
