PANYNJ Honors 3 Host Employees

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has chosen three HMSHost Corp. associates collectively as Employee of the Year as part of its Customer Care Reward & Recognition Program.

Nina Kozlova, Sophia Brewster and Carolyn Brown, all servers at Chili’s in Terminal 3 at John F. Kennedy International (JFK), will be recognized at an awards ceremony at the PANYNJ offices in New York City on Thursday.

“We work diligently to make each and every customer feel important and welcome,” says James Condra, HMSHost general manager at JFK.” It’s a pleasure to see PANYNJ give the Employee of the Year award to not just one of our associates, but to three representing an unprecedented achievement.”

The three women will receive a plaque, commendation letter and have their picture taken with an employee from the port authority. HMSHost will send them to Thursday’s ceremony in a limousine, and management and staff will host a dinner in their honor.

The program recognizes winners based on their demeanor, positive contact with the customers, efforts to please the customer, being well-informed, and offering polite and professional service.

Kozlova has been with the company since 1994, Brown since 1999 and Brewster since 2002.
