The Sacramento Business Journal has named The Paradies Shops at Sacramento International (SMF) the best place to work in the small business category.
The newspaper contracted with Quantum Workplace to research the “A+ Employer Listing.” Employees answered 38 questions in an online survey that checked their satisfaction in the work environment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, management, compensation and benefits.
“With a score of 97.03, it is obvious that the associates at Sacramento International Airport truly love working for The Paradies Shops,” says Gregg Paradies, president and CEO. “This is outstanding recognition for our team and we are so proud of the family culture and first class operation we have built under the leadership of Tim Ahmadzai, general manager.”
The company says it strives to create a family culture by asking for and using ideas from employees at all levels. Suggestions range from store displays to customer service.
“Our team takes tremendous pride in the company’s family culture and mission statement to exceed the expectations of the traveling public,” says Ahmadzai. “Being recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as a best place to work is an extraordinary achievement and I want to thank all our Sacramento team members for their commitment to unparalleled customer service.”
