Travel retailer and restaurateur Paradies Lagardère has been awarded four concessions packages at Sacramento International Airport (SMF). The winning bid encompasses four retail and kiosk packages, combining national, local and proprietary names to appeal to travelers.
“We’re confident that the retail program Paradies Lagardère has put together for Sacramento International Airport will offer travelers an enhanced customer experience unlike any other,” says Gregg Paradies, president and CEO, Paradies Lagardère. “We’re going to provide the airport, its travelers and its employees creative proprietary concepts, popular national brands, and innovation and technology that will not only make purchases more convenient for travelers, but provide an enhanced customer experience.”
Two markets will join the terminal: DOCO will offer regional gourmet favorites like See’s Candies as well as travel essentials and licensed sports apparel, while the Farm to Fork…to Flight Market will feature not only Paradies’ proprietary grab-and-go offerings, but gifts and a lounge environment as well. The Sacramento-based Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters offers travelers a taste of the local coffee scene, while Sactown Magazine brings local vendors’ wares into a travel essentials outlet. No Boundaries, InMotion and Brighton will also have locations.
SMF guests will also be able to access two new mobile retail options in the form of kiosks. Farm to Fork to Flight Express will offer a quicker experience for those too rushed to peruse the store, while Jaynee Cakes attracts the sweet tooth with baked goods and an array of beverages.
The new concepts will open in early 2019.
