Paradies, HMSHost Win PHX Contracts

Paradies Lagardère and a partnership led by HMSHost have been selected to operate concessions in the second phase of the Eighth Concourse at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s (PHX) Terminal 4, which is currently under construction. The Phoenix City Council approved the recommended awards Wednesday.

PHX S1 Restaurant Partners, (PHX S1), the partnership of concessionaires HMSHost, Kind Hospitality, and TMG Services, won the contract to open two new restaurants: Guy Fieri’s Phoenix Kitchen + Bar and SanTan Spirit House, a concept from the locally beloved SanTan Brewing Company.

“HMSHost has built its reputation on developing an exciting mix of restaurants that makes a traveler’s journey as rewarding as their destination,” said Stephen Douglas, HMSHost vice president of business development. “We are thrilled to be part of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s growth and to bring the legendary flavors of Guy Fieri and SanTan Spirits to the terminal.”

Paradies Lagardère will bring in two new stores to the Eighth Concourse: Fan Shop by PGA TOUR featuring apparel and accessories for fans of golf and fashion, and the Arizona Roadtrip store that will feature locally made products including Arizona wine and olive oil. This concept will also feature a kids’ zone with activities.

“We greatly appreciate our partnership with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and are excited to expand our retail presence with two new, exciting brands,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of Paradies Lagardère. “The new Fan Shop by PGA TOUR will attract sports enthusiasts of all kinds and is perfect for the Phoenix market while our Arizona Roadtrip store showcases an amazing array of local products and even shares information on the artisans that created those items.”

The new shops and restaurants are expected to open by the end of 2024.
