Paradies, Kambers To Open 4 Concessions At OKC

The Paradies Shops and its Oklahoma retail partner Kambers Gifts and Luggage is opening four concessions at Will Rogers World (OKC), and one will have a little bit of star power for the festivities.

Barry Sanders, a former Oklahoma State football player who went on to have a career with the Detroit Lions, will attend the opening of the EA Sports Experience Store.

The store offers an interactive sports experience, and features apparel from local home teams, including the Thunder, Sooners and Cowboys. There is also the EA Sports Play Zone, where customers can play EA Sports’ games and which includes electronic accessories such as chargers, batteries and headphones for multiple devices.

Other stores opening at OKC include Bricktown Marketplace, offering souvenirs and merchandise from some of the area’s most famous attractions, luggage and special gifts from Kambers; Brighton, with handbags, watches, jewelry and eyewear for ladies, and wallets, belts and watches for men; and POPS TravelMart, which features a scaled-down replica of the 66-foot soda pop bottle along Historic Route 66 and sells newspapers, magazines, books, convenience items, snacks, sundries, luggage and souvenirs, as well as sodas and beverages.

“Will Rogers World Airport leads the industry in class and service, and we are extremely excited to officially open these great new concepts for OKC,” says Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of The Paradies Shops. “Our partnerships with Oklahoma favorites such as POPS and Bricktown, as well as our exclusive alliance with national brands including EA Sports and Brighton Collectibles, has given us the opportunity to create a great retail program with both regional and global appeal.”
