Paradies Lagardère Brings The Scoreboard To JFK

The Scoreboard store has made its U.S. debut at John F. Kennedy International (JFK), courtesy of Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail.

“We are so proud to have opened The Scoreboard at JFK’s Terminal 4,” says Gerry Savaria, executive vice president of Paradies Lagardère. “Not only is this one of the busiest airports in North America, it is an exciting sports market that is truly passionate about its players, teams and regional rivalries. I am certain that The Scoreboard will match the passion of local sports fans and provide fans with authentic merchandise from major sporting events throughout the year.”

The store sells apparel and accessories from all major professional sports leagues. In addition, the JFK store will specifically sell a variety of Giants, Jets, Yankees, Mets, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Nets, Knicks, NY Red Bulls and New York City Football Club merchandise.

“Our passengers were asking for a unique and official sports merchandise store, and we are pleased to be delivering just that with the introduction of The Scoreboard,” says Gert-Jan de Graaff, president and CEO of JFKIAT, which manages Terminal 4 at the airport.

Additionally, the store will sell products related to sports trends, such as major international competitions and the 2016 Olympic Games.

“Our local sports teams are a big draw for visitors to New York,” says Edward Midgley, vice president of concessions management at JFKIAT. “This store is another fantastic way in which New Yorkers and all fans from around the world can come together through the power of sport.”
