Paradies Lagardère, CVG Partner On Fresh Food Options

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is partnering with Paradies Lagardère and vertical farming company 80 Acres Farms to bring fresh salad kits to travelers year-round.

80 Acres Farms salad kits are now available from all Paradies Lagardère travel essentials stores at CVG, including Queen City Expo., Over the Rhine Market, Today, Gaslight Market, Tripadvisor, CNBC, Bluegrass Bazaar, and Seven Hills Essential. The company’s greens and herbs are also now on the menu at Vino Volo, for travelers looking for a sit-down dining experience.

The new partnership comes a month after company announced an expansion into grab-and-go salads, pairing their greens with high-quality toppings in three curated kits—the sweet-and-savory Feelin’ Gouda, the tangy Greekin’ Out, and the zesty Rockin’ Ranchero.

“We are thrilled to leverage our existing relationships with 80 Acres Farms and Paradies Lagardère to offer CVG passengers what they desire,” said Candace McGraw, CVG CEO. “It is exciting to now offer two additional fresh options: one for a sit-down meal, and one for a grab-and-go bite.”

Based in Hamilton, Ohio, 80 Acres Farms grows pesticide-free greens, microgreens, herbs, and tomatoes in indoor farms, including a new 200,000-square-foot facility in Boone County, Kentucky, just fifteen minutes from CVG.

“We are excited to launch our new partnership with 80 Acres Farms that will deliver fresh, healthy, and sustainable offerings to our guests at Vino Volo and customers in our travel essentials stores in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of Paradies Lagardère. “This revolutionary farm created by 80 Acres Farms parallels Paradies Lagardère’s own direction in quality, innovation, and commitment to sustainability, and we’re excited to expand this operation and continually offer the very best to our guests.”
