Paradies Lagardère is sent to begin its annual campaign to help combat childhood hunger in the U.S. In the company’s Dine Out For No Kid Hungry program, throughout the month of September. Paradies Lagardère venues and restaurants will donate 25 cents for every cup of coffee sold and will also continue its year-round effort to support No Kid Hungry by donating 25 percent of every kid’s meal sold and served in its restaurants.
Money raised supports No Kid Hungry works by connecting children to nutrition programs such as School Breakfast and Summer Meals, creating public-private partnerships that work to identify and break down barriers giving children access to meals, and teaching low-income families how to budget and cook healthy meals.
“One in five children struggles with hunger in our country. Paradies Lagardère continues to work to combat the troubling issue of childhood hunger through its steadfast commitment to No Kid Hungry,” said Bill Casey, senior vice president, Food and Beverage, Paradies Lagardère. “Over the last three years, we’ve raised more than $80,000, successfully increasing the amount raised each year. We look forward to building on those efforts this year as well.”
