Paradies Lagardère has opened Concordia Market at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) to provide travelers with a taste of Milwaukee’s historic Concordia neighborhood as well as local food options and beverages.
Concordia Market is the latest location from Paradies Lagardère’s locally customized gourmet market series at the airport joining Bronzeville Crossing, Bay View Exchange, Miller Valley Market, and Summerfest Marketplace, each of which correspond to a Milwaukee neighborhood.
The new market offers travelers fresh daily food options including Milwaukee-based Press Waffles, pastries and sandwiches with Wisconsin-based Nueske’s meat, coffee provided by the popular Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. and a selection of grab and go options like sandwiches, parfaits, salads, and wraps.
The retail portion of Concordia Market offers options for gourmet snacks, bottles of wine, and cans of beer from regional brewers. Local selections include cheese curds and block cheese from Clock Shadow Creamery, as well as a variety of healthy gluten-free, keto, and organic treats.
“We are thrilled to open the new Concordia Market at MKE and deliver a fresh, unique gourmet experience for travelers,” said Claude Guillaume, senior vice president of operations for Paradies Lagardère Dining. “With a sophisticated sense of place, Concordia offers our guests an array of local artisanal assortments, including fresh and healthy snacks, quality grab and go, bottled wine, specialty retail treats, local coffee and more. It is a true market experience.”
