Paradies Lagardère had opened a new location of the popular chain MOD Pizza at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), providing hungry travelers with individual, made-to-order, artisan-style pizzas within minutes.
Located in the DTW North Terminal, MOD Pizza offers more than 30 toppings, as well as salads that are hand-tossed in front of the customer. The DTW location also features a breakfast menu, including the Red Eye, topped with egg, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, green pepper and diced tomato, and the Layover, topped with egg, shredded mozzarella, mild sausage, sliced red onion and fresh rosemary.
“MOD Pizza has a strong fan base because of its delicious pizzas and salads, and its people-first core values, working to make positive change in the communities they serve,” says Regynald Washington, president, Paradies Lagardère Dining Division. “Paradies Lagardère is excited to bring this brand to fans at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and introduce its ‘MODness’ to a new group of customers.”
MOD Pizza has also been named America’s fastest growing chain restaurant by Technomic for four years running and named the most loved pizza brand by Foodable Network. MOD was also recognized by Forbes as one of the “20 Best Workplaces in Retail,” a “Best Workplace for Women,” a “Best Workplace for Millennials,” and a “Best Workplace for Diversity.”
“The opening of MOD Pizza in Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s North Terminal is a unique addition to our many dining options,” says Chad Newton, CEO of the Wayne County Airport Authority, operators of DTW. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with the Paradies Lagardère Dining Division, who shares our commitment to providing the best possible customer experience to all of our visitors.”
