Paradies Lagardère Partners with Eco-friendly Manufacturer Nimble to Sell Sustainable Travel Tech

Concessionnaire Paradies Lagardère will now offer travelers carbon-neutral, easily recyclable travel tech accessories from sustainable manufacturer Nimble

Products from the tech company — which produces popular travel must-haves like charging cables, power banks, phone cases and adapters largely made from recycled materials like hemp, bioplastics, recycled aluminum and recycled water bottles —  will now be available in more than 300 of Paradies Lagardère’s U.S. and Canadian retail locations.

Founded in 2018, California-based Nimble is a Certified B Corporation™ and Climate Neutral®-certified brand committed to reducing the growing global problem of e-waste by offering products certified by Global Recycled Standard (GRS) as well as free, prepaid shipping labels for customers to recycle their products through an e-waste processing partner.

“We believe Paradies Lagardère is taking a vitally positive step in offering ethically made tech accessories to more travelers than ever,” says Ross Howe, chief executive officer for Nimble. “By making our products accessible, we hope to empower consumers to make responsible choices, even on the go.”

The decision to partner with Nimble is part of Paradies Lagardère’s corporate social responsibility initiative PEPS (Planet, Ethics, People, Social), spearheaded by its parent company Lagardère Travel Retail. The PEPS program outlines the company’s commitment to reducing their carbon footprint, promoting ethical business practices, creating a more inclusive environment for employees and supporting surrounding communities through donations and volunteer work.

“We are extremely thrilled to launch this new effort with Nimble and to continually elevate our corporate social responsibility strategy within the industry,” says Nikki T. Harland, chief operating officer for Paradies Lagardère and the executive sponsor of its PEPS initiative. “We are committed to protecting and improving the environment and reducing our carbon footprint, and the introduction of this new assortment is a clear demonstration of that commitment.”
