Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) will soon be home to a Minute Suites location.

Minute Suites, private suites where travelers can relax, will open a location later this year with the help of Paradies Lagardère. The suites will be located inside the security checkpoint, allowing travelers to utilize the new amenity before their flight.

“We are thrilled and very appreciative of this opportunity to continue expanding our long-standing relationship with Charlotte Douglas International Airport and deliver this unique concept,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of Paradies Lagardère. “Traveling can be very stressful. Offering a reprieve for travelers to take a nap, do some work or even take a shower while waiting for a flight elevates the airport experience, a goal that Paradies Lagardère strives for with its airport offerings.”

The construction for the project will start on Sept. 15, 2017, with a projected opening in December 2017. Six Minute Suites locations will be located in the CTL Atrium in total.

“The Charlotte International Airport is a good strategic fit for our growing company and the busy center Atrium location is ideal for passenger awareness,” said Daniel Solomon, co-founder and director of Minute Suites. “We are thankful to Paradies Lagardère and the city of Charlotte for this opportunity, and we look forward to serving the passengers.”
