After finalizing their merger on Oct. 22, Paradies and LS Travel Retail North America have unveiled their first venture as the newly formed Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail.
The company is bringing its first post-security 7-Eleven to Dallas/Forth Worth International (DFW). Located in Terminal A, the store will be 1,320 square feet.
“We are excited to open our first 7-Eleven store in DFW,” says Gerry Savaria, executive vice president of Paradies Lagardère. “Born in Dallas, 7-Eleven is a true global success story, and it’s only natural that we offer this iconic brand to the DFW travelers and the airport community. We are glad to extend our close partnerships with 7-Eleven and DFW and thank them for their renewed confidence in our team.”
The DFW location will offer hot food; pre-packaged grab-and-go items; fountain drinks, including Slurpees; snacks and ice cream. There also will be magazines, electronic accessories and other convenience-related items available.
“The opening of the first 7-Eleven at Terminal A inside security at a U.S. airport sets DFW Airport apart from other airports,” says Ken Buchanan, executive vice president of revenue management at DFW. “This is another opportunity to cater to our customers from around the world familiar with the 7-Eleven brand and deliver a customer experience only found at DFW. We are proud to have a local Texas brand at our airport to serve the more than 63 million passengers we have each year.”
