Paradies Opens Its 1st Dining Concession

The Paradies’ Shops first food and beverage concession, Blue Ridge Trading and Tavern, has opened at Asheville Regional (AVL).

The company has worked with local chef Anthony Cerrato and is sourcing local vendors to provide the food for the regionally inspired menu, including farm-to-table specialties, craft beers from local breweries and wines from North Carolina vineyards.

“The Paradies Shops is excited to bring Blue Ridge Trading and Tavern to the travelers at AVL,” says Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of The Paradies Shops. “We feel the menu created by Chef Anthony speaks to the beauty and soul of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and are proud to showcase the many special, locally-produced foods and spirits of Western North Carolina.”

The restaurant is in the newly redesigned concessions area, giving guests the chance to view the runway and Blue Ridge Mountains.

“Asheville Regional Airport has experienced record growth during the past year, and Blue Ridge Trading and Tavern is another welcome addition to the airport,” says Lew Bleiweis, airport director. “Air travelers not only enjoy ease of travel at AVL, but they now will also be able to enjoy exceptional food and beverages in an environment that embraces the ambiance of Western North Carolina. We are pleased to welcome The Paradies Shops to Asheville and are impressed with their high-caliber attention to customer service.”
