Denver International (DEN) has selected the joint venture of Paradies and Tastes 5280 Restaurants to develop concessions in the 39,000-square-foot extension of its C Concourse.
Tastes 5280 is a partnership that includes Tastes on the Fly, which created the Napa Farms Market at San Francisco International (SFO), and two local Denver Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise companies: Innovative Retail Group and Doc1 Solutions.
Construction on the C Concourse began in September. The new gate area is expected to open in November. The stores that will open in the new space include: XpresSpa; Modmarket, a local Denver fresh food restaurant; electronics retailer eSaavy, which is a partnership with PeachMac; outdoor retailer No Boundaries; The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf; and the Coors Light Silver Bullet Sports Bar.
It’s the first time that Paradies and Tastes on the Fly have teamed together on an airport project.
“This partnership allows two of the strongest operators on the airport concourse to create an exceptional traveler experience at DIA,” says Michael Levine, CEO of Tastes on the Fly. “Our joint venture with local ACDBE operators ensures we will continually demonstrate the local sense of place that separates Colorado and DIA from other U.S. airports.”
