Philadelphia Mayor Taps Prazenica For Airport Advisory Board

Michael A. Nutter, mayor of Philadelphia, Pa., has appointed Bernie Prazenica to the Mayor’s Airport Advisory Board.

Prazenica is president and general manager of WPVI-TV 6abc. In the advisory board role, he will help support the growth and success of Philadelphia International (PHL).

“Bernie Prazenica continues to show his commitment to Philadelphia, and I look forward to putting his leadership and management expertise to work to help guide the ongoing improvement of Philadelphia International Airport,” says Nutter. “I would like to thank Bernie for his willingness and interest to serve in this important capacity.”

The intent of the board is to help airport CEO Mark Gale and the administration achieve goals and objectives, especially on continuing infrastructure improvements and expansion, revitalizing and refocusing efforts on customer service and amenities, and fostering economic development. The board also advocates for key business initiatives and programs that enhance the overall operation and passenger experience at the airport.
