Philadelphia-Style Hoagie Restaurant Opens At Reagan National

Taylor Gourmet Handcrafted Hoagies, a Philadelphia-style hoagie shop, has opened in Terminal B/C near Gate 25 at Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA).

The shop is a joint venture between Concessions International and MBC Concessions, an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise partner. The pair has done six restaurants together.

“A sandwich is one of the fastest and easiest items for busy travelers to eat while rushing through the airport, but finding a good one is not always easy,” says Donata Russell Major, CEO of Concessions International. “Now, Reagan Airport visitors can enjoy one of the best-tasting Philadelphia-style hoagies with fresh ingredients, in-house roasted meats and no preservatives.”

Taylor Gourmet is owned by Philadelphia natives Casey Patten and David Mazza, two friends living in Washington, D.C., who craved hoagies like those they grew up eating. They opened their first restaurant in 2008 and have expanded to nine locations. The menu includes Italian-cured meats, turkey, beef and pork roasted on-site daily; handmade meatballs; seasoned chicken cutlets; cheeses; white and wheat vegan hoagie rolls; and an assortment of other products.
