PHL Gets In The Holiday Spirit

MarketPlace PHL, a partnership between MarketPlace Development and LeJeune & Associates, is getting festive at Philadelphia International (PHL).

Starting on Dec. 1, Secret Santas will roam the airport to hand out free gifts, which are donated by Philadelphia MarketPlace merchants, to military personnel as a sign of gratitude for their service.

Gift-wrapping stations will also be available through Dec. 24. Travelers need to present a receipt from a PHL retailer to have their gifts wrapped.

Finally, the airport will encourage passengers to donate to Toys for Tots. Donations will be accepted at Explore Philadelphia (Concourse A East), Heritage Books (B/C Connector) and Pennsylvania Market (Concourse E).

“PHL shoppers and travelers can expect holiday cheer as they travel through each terminal,” says Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace PHL. “We wish our guests safe and speedy travels during this busy season.”
