PHX To Move Forward On Phase 2 Of T4 Retail

The Phoenix City Council approved the second and final phase of the retail overhaul at Phoenix Sky Harbor International’s Terminal 4. Sixteen new retail stores will be added.

Contracts were awarded to Casa Unlimited Enterprises, Inc., Avila Retail Development and Management, LLC., Dufry Phoenix Retailers JV, Paradies Lagardère and InMotion Entertainment Group, LLC.

The new concepts include an a full-service medical clinic called Mach1Medical, located within a store called Drugs & More; En Route Travel, a luggage and travel needs store; Azcentral.com and Connections, both book and sundries stores; and TripAdvisor, featuring books periodicals and traveler needs.

Specialty retail stores Tumi; Lucky Break, featuring the Lucky brand; Brookstone; two locations of InMotion Entertainment; and Sonora Southwest Living. Also included are three locations of Indigenous, an Arizona-centric gift and souvenir store; and two Phoenix Duty Free stores.

PHX said new concepts were based on customer feedback and will expand upon the frequently-requested local and national brands already at the airport. The stores will open in phases through the end of the first quarter of 2018.
