St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) this week named Starmark as its advertising agency of record as it looks to better promote the airport as the ideal entry point for tourists looking to experience the Florida Gulf Coast.

PIE, which recently completed extensive renovations and infrastructure investments, contributes over $1.04 billion in economic activity each year.

With our latest terminal renovations, new parking, updated Customs facility, and new shops and restaurants, we’re ready to welcome even more travelers back to PIE and the Tampa Bay area,” said Tom Jewsbury, PIE director.

PIE and Starmark plan to leverage the agency’s social media skills, creative team members, web developers and strategists to highlight the convenience of the airport for tourists visiting the Clearwater, Tampa, and St. Petersburg beaches and other attractions.
