The new Pier D at Dublin International (DUB) has opened for business. The $175.3M (converted to US dollars) project is part of a $1.75B capital transformation program the Dublin Airport Authority has planned for the airport. Pier D has 12 boarding gates, 14 aircraft contact stands and can handle 10M passengers annually. It will be used primarily by short-haul aircraft on routes to and from the UK and Continental Europe.
