Plowman Named VP at Fraport USA

Fraport USA, a subsidiary of Fraport AG, has named Ellery Plowman as its new vice president of business development.

Plowman brings decades of experience in the airport retail sector, most recently as head of her own consultancy company, ellco, helping concessionaires enhance the passenger experience and maximize revenue at major airports and other transportation venues in all phases of concession and concept development.

Prior to that, Plowman held the position of VP business development and leasing management at Westfield, where she contributed to expanding the Westfield business and footprint at Chicago O’Hare Airport’s (ORD) Terminal 5, as well as six terminals at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Plowman also worked at Rosetta Stone, pioneering the expansion strategy for airport retail and providing the foundation for a highly visible and profitable retail presence that continues to thrive.

“Ellery Plowman’s depth of expertise and accomplishments in the airport concessions industry speaks volumes,” says Ben Zandi, president and CEO of Fraport USA, in announcing the appointment. “Her entrepreneurial drive will help fuel our vision of the future for airports. We are pleased to gain a creative professional of high caliber.”
