Prepango, a national operator of specialty vending machines and automated retail leader, has partnered with Denver International Airport (DEN) to install coffee vending machines.
They will include Prepango’s illycaffè (illy.com) vending concept, which grinds whole beans, brews and serves a comprehensive list of beverage selections, including espresso, cappuccino, caffè latte, macchiato, mocha and many other espresso-based drinks, as well as illy’s premium fresh drip coffee.
“With the return to travel, an exceptional coffee offering makes perfect sense” said Marcos Modiano, founder and CEO of Prepango LLC, to which he added “there are two unique aspects to our newest automated concept: first and foremost, we have partnered exclusively with illy, the makers of exceptional coffee sourced from the world’s best Arabica coffee. This means immediate brand recognition and second, it is a promise to deliver a new level of quality which traditional consumers of automated coffee vending machines are simply not used to in the USA.”
The new vending options will help DEN serve the millions of travelers that fly through the airport annually. “We are just as excited as our passengers to have Prepango provide tasty coffee beverages to those flying in and out of our airport,” said Pam Dechant, senior vice president of concessions at DEN. “A huge thank you to Prepango for their ability to support our record-number of passengers at the third busiest airport in the world.”
