The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an experienced and motivated concessions management professional to join the hard working, dynamic Airport Economic Development (AED) team to manage and optimize the concessions program at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) as a Property Specialist II – Concessions.
There is one (1) open position. The Property Specialist II – Concessions reports to the Senior Manager of Properties and is a key member of the AED team. The Property Specialist II – Concessions is responsible for the development and execution of the concessions program at RNO, which includes food and beverage, retail, rental cars, ground transportation service providers, advertising, gaming, and other airport services. This position has the responsibility for developing strategic objectives and tactical plans designed to keep the concession offerings fresh and to grow revenue through initiatives designed to attract and retain business and industry to RNO, with significant ability to positively impact the passenger experience at RNO.
The nature of the position requires excellent business communication skills, including the ability to deliver public presentations and staff reports; the ability to establish, maintain and foster effective working relationships; the ability to organize and direct complex projects and programs; sound independent judgment and discretion in determining optimal strategies for meeting strategic goals; and the ability to identify and implement innovative and efficient solutions.
