PS Plans Private Terminal For MIA

PS, the private luxury terminal service for commercial flights, said it will expand to Miami International Airport (MIA), where it will open the airport’s first private terminal in 2025.

PS will convert PanAm’s former Miami headquarters at the airport to a private facility catering to luxury travelers, with a team of architects, interior designers, and contractors experienced in historic preservation. The team will create an adaptive, effective, modern and beautiful space that is in accordance with the Miami-Dade County historic preservation ordinance and the secretary of the interior’s standards and guidelines for the restoration and rehabilitation of historic structures.

When completed, PS MIA will offer members and guests an elevated lounge experience, including a salon, and private suites equipped with a private balcony, as well as a landscaped courtyard for some final moments in Miami’s sunshine.

At boarding time, members and guests go through on-site TSA screening at the PS terminal before being driven to their commercial flights at any of MIA’s concourses, to board the plane directly from the tarmac via the jet bridge stairs. For those arriving at MIA, the full experience is reversed seamlessly, from tarmac pick-up through airport departure.

“As the nation’s busiest airport for international passengers, with more flights to Latin America and the Caribbean than any other, MIA is an intuitive location for our expansion,” Amina Belouizdad Porter, CEO of PS. “We look forward to bringing the superior service and convenience for which PS is known to the discerning travelers that fly to and through Miami. We are grateful for the trust placed in us by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and take seriously our stewardship of this iconic building.
