Quick-response codes installed inside parking areas at Indianapolis International (IND) should help remind passengers where they left their vehicles.
The QR codes are located in each shelter of the economy lot and at the first pillar of each row of public parking inside the terminal garage. Guests can use the codes by scanning the one closest to their parking location with a smartphone and using a QR-reading app that integrates with an email program.
When the guest scans the QR code, an email prepopulated with an automated address and content will open. After sending the email, guests will receive a reply indicating the corresponding level, side and row where their vehicles are parked.
