The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority (RDAA), operator of Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), has named Lisa Leyva as its new senior director, commercial management, overseeing the development of strategies and initiatives aimed at increasing non-aeronautical revenue and enhancing the guest experience.
Leyva previously served as aviation development manager for the City of Albuquerque Aviation Department, which operates Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ). There, Leyva was responsible for air service, business development, contracts, marketing and public relations.
“RDU is an exceptional airport with an exceptional team that is growing in all areas, passengers, air service technologies and innovation,” said Leyva in a press release announcing her new role.
“The airport is a great representation of what is happening in the Raleigh Durham area, and I feel incredibly honored to be part of the team and community that makes up the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority.”
Leyva was placed following a search led by Jacksonville, FL-based ADK Consulting & Executive Search.
